After more than 25 years in the knitting business, Rebecca Deeprose is closing up her shop in Scottsdale at the end of February.

Arizona Knitting and Needlepoint, on 3617 North Goldwater Blvd, was known for its huge assortment of supplies and project opportunities as well as its classes and community table in the back of the store where more than a few secrets were swapped.

Now through the end of February, the shop is having a 50 percent off sale on purchases made with cash and a 30 percent off sale on anything purchased with a check or card.

For more information, check out the store’s website or call (480) 945-7455.
