If you’re getting cold feet on applying for a Phoenix public arts grant, The City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture‘s offering up a quick cure.
The arts office is working to pair a slew of public arts grants with local artists through a free three-part seminar series, starting next Wednesday.
The series will focus on all aspects of public art — how to propose, design, budget, and build successful public projects throughout Phoenix.
The first workshop, “Presentations and Proposals” will be in the Community Room at the Phoenix Art Museum on Wednesday, March 30, from 6 to 7:15 p.m..

Members of coLab Studios and Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture’s Public Art Program staff will dish out tips on what makes a good/bad proposal and how to land (and make it through) a public arts proposal interview.
The second and third workshops “Collaborations” and “The Design Process” will be on April 27 and May 25, also from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the Phoenix Art Museum
