– Intermission @ monOrchidWilliam LeGoullon has been going to the drive-in movies for years, and he’d been documenting them as they closed around the Valley. “”Intermission is a photographic observation of the iconic environments America has called Drive-ins for over a half century. These outdoor movie theaters embody a classic American movie-going tradition that has lasted for decades and engendered memories for thousands of people. They are scenes that have evolved over time, while continuing to symbolize an iconic landscape of American automobile culture, family experience, cinema history, and classic teenage romance.” The show opens at 6 p.m. at monOrchid, 214 E Roosevelt. – CALACA Day of Dead Caminos de la Muerte @ Bragg’s Pie FactoryCaminos de la Muerte closes its annual Day of the Dead festival tonight, complete with art, ofrendas, nichos, altars, and installations curated by Marco Albaran and Ruben Galicia. The show opens at 6 p.m. at Bragg’s Pie, 1301 NW Grand Ave.
– You Are Here @ Regular GalleryOur own show of maps of Phoenix by local artists has its closing show tonight at Regular Gallery, 918 N. Sixth Street. Check out the details here, as well as a bit behind each map created for the show by Sue Chenoweth, Melinda Bergman, David Quan, Carrie Marill, Sarah Hurwitz, Safwat Saleem, Thomas “Breeze” Marcus, Angela Cazel Jahn, Marshall Shore. The gallery doors open at 7 p.m..
Off the Map: – Winter Seeds by Pete DeiseLocal sculptor Pete Deise will show (and sell!) his “bite-sized” works tonight at 1024 SW Grand Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. More info here.
– PARLOR GAMES at After Hours Gallery After Hours Gallery is hosting its last show in its current space, PARLOR GAMES: Works by Corinne Geertsen, tonight from 6 to 9 p.m., at 116 W. McDowell. The show will be up until November 30. More info here.

- The Phoenix Art Museum has great parking (and great art, go figure), and is back as one of the stops for the First Friday Trolley. On-street parking is limited along Roosevelt Street between First and Seventh streets (Note: meters downtown are still checked until 8 p.m.). Or if you can nab a spot, check out the free street parking on Grand Avenue …
