Thanks to the Cullens and the True Blood crew, there are sure to be more than a few tweens and adults dressed as vampires this Halloween.

But we dare you to ask a few of them to work the stage like local dance queen Lisa Starry‘s cast from Scorpius Dance Theatre.

Scorpius announced an extension of their A Vampire Tale show, with a special closing performance tonight at Phoenix Theatre’s Little Theatre.

This season will mark the eleventh year of Starry’s annual fall production of “A Vampire Tale.” And the dancers in her Scorpius Dance Theatre are widely known as the best modern dance company in Phoenix.

Starry told us in June that she’s in the process of writing and producing a film based on “A Vampire Tale.”

Tonight’s show is at 8 p.m. at Phoenix Theatre’s Little Theatre and will be followed with a special closing meet-and-greet, “Party with the Vamps.” Tickets are $35, and can be purchased online.
