Word broke this aftenoon that officers from the Tempe Police Department have arrested the owner of the Clubhouse Music Venue in the wake of last week’s gang-related shooting at the venue.

Eugenia Ruven, the owner of both the Clubhouse and the adjacent Horse & Hound bar, was cited for a class three misdemeanor for failing to properly follow the venue’s security plan.

Ruvan was cited and released for the offense at approximately noon today at the venue. Tempe Police held a press conference regarding the situation this afternoon and we’ll have more information on the situation, and what it could mean for the Clubhouse’s future, as soon as possible.
