Local fans of ’90s alt-rock hitmakers Bush are in for some heartbreak and disappointment. The band’s upcoming concert at Celebrity Theatre next Wednesday, which was part of X103.9’s “No Snow Holiday Show” series, has been cancelled.

An e-mail that was sent out by Celebrity Theatre’s staff (and reposted on Bush’s official website) stated the following:

“This is to inform you that X103.9 has Cancelled the BUSH & Mutemath No Snow Holiday Show. We are currently processing refunds for credit card purchases…If you paid cash, you will need to take your tickets to the box office for a full refund. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”

As of this writing, no information or explanation has been posted by X103.9 on either its website, Twitter, or Facebook as to why the show was cancelled.
