A Glendale man who was shot in front of his home last night has died from his injuries, the Glendale Police Department announced this afternoon.

The man’s family has not yet been notified, so the Glendale PD hasn’t released his identity but say they are treating the shooting as a homicide.

About 8 p.m. yesterday, 9-1-1 dispatchers received several calls reporting gunshots were fired near 53rd Avenue and Greenway Road.

As officers were arriving on the scene, dispatchers received another call from a woman saying her husband had been shot in front of their home.
