The Pinal County man who police say sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl on Monday has been arrested.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office announced today that 25-year-old Juan Carlos Cuadros-Ortiz was taken into custody thanks to an anonymous tip from a citizen.
Ortiz was located near Highway 84 and Burris Road in Casa Grande and was taken into custody without incident, police say.
PCSO deputies got a call Monday afternoon saying the 13-year-old victim was sexually assaulted by Ortiz.

The PCSO would not give details of the attack, but say
that once family members of the girl confronted Ortiz about the sexual
assault, he took off with his 21-year-old girlfriend and their
8-month-old son.
Detectives discovered that the girlfriend was once a victim of an
unreported domestic violence incident involving Ortiz, and she only left
with him out of concern for her son.
Ortiz, his girlfriend, and the baby, were last seen driving in a 2003 Suzuki SUV with Arizona license plate AFK3223. The PCSO thought there was a chance he fled to Riverside, California, but that was apparently not the case.
