Valley cop shops are asking the public’s help in tracking down a pair of thieves they say scammed numerous retailers out of about $27,000.
One of the suspects has been identified as Ramon Angel Leon-Baron. His accomplice has not been identified.
Cops say,starting in August 2009, the pair would go to Valley retail stores, such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Zales Jewelry, Macy’s, Cabela’s, Sears, Best Buy, and Kohl’s, and use newly established lines of credit to buy all sorts of merchandise. The problem, however, is that the lines of credit were opened using stolen identities.
The unidentified suspect is described as a Hispanic woman, 25-30 years old, about 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-5. She’s about 180-200 pounds, and has brown hair.

Leon-Baron is a 28-year-old Hispanic male, six feet tall, 180-200 pounds, with black hair.
The vehicles the pair used during the thefts are described as Chevy pickup trucks — one a blue 1990 model, the other a red 1985 model.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO 480-837-8446 for Spanish. There is a reward of up to $1000 for information that leads to the arrest of wanted individuals.
