Authorities are asking the public’s help in tracking down the person responsible for the deaths of two Glendale women whose decomposing bodies were found near Cordes Junction nearly 15 years ago.

The two women, 19-year-old Jennifer Lueth and 20-year-old Diana Shawcroft, were last seen leaving a mini-mart near the intersection of 59th Avenue and Camelback Road on May 27, 1996.

The women were last seen by a clerk at the mini-mart as they were getting into a faded blue truck driven by a man described by the clerk as white, and in his 30. He had blond shoulder-length hair, a mustache, and was wearing a blue jean jacket, the clerk later told police.

Three months after getting into the truck, the bodies of Lueth and Shawcroft were found north of Cordes Junction, more than 100 miles from their homes.
