The victim of a fatal stabbing over the weekend in Tempe has been identified, and the man who police say stabbed him remains on the loose.

Tempe police have identified the victim as 47-year-old Fred U. Bustamante. The suspect is 60-year-old Gordon Benson.

Police haven’t released a lot of information about the Saturday morning stabbing other than Bustamante was stabbed at his home on Apache Boulevard east of McClintock Drive.

Benson was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black jeans, and boots. It’s unclear if the two men knew each other, or what motive Benson would have to kill Bustamante.
