Okay, I’m back to the whole glove thing. I stand by my previously stated opinion: Gloved hands do not equal clean hands.

Consider these notes from a recent county inspection at Steamers, the sorta-hoity-toity seafood restaurant at the Biltmore Fashion Park:

EMPLOYEE BREADING FISH WITH GLOVES THEN WASHING GLOVES IN A BUCKET OF SANITIZER AND THEN CONTINUED WORKING. EMPLOYEE WAS TOLD TO CHANGE GLOVES AND WASH HANDS PROPERLY.

Let’s say it all together: GROSS.

And even grosser than than the “yellow slime mold” and “pink slime mold” found on a soda nozzle and soda gun holster, respectively, is this note (given the previous glove situation):

CONTAINER OF SANITIZER NOT LABELED.
