If you’ve exhausted the usual visits on your shopping go-to list and can’t find the right fit for your special book-loving someone on our book lover gift guide, you’ll want to stop by the Camelback Colonnade this weekend.
The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library will host its first-ever offsite book sale with more than 200,000 books, CDs, and DVDs in more than 80,000 sq ft (thanks to an empty, former Mervyn’s).

When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
If you grab a FPPL bag on-site, you can fill it with books for just $20. All merchandise is 50% off on Saturday and 75% off on Sunday.
Get out there and buy some books for friends (or yourself) — just please don’t turn them into a headboard.
The Camelback Colonnade is at 1919 E. Camelback Road and the space wil be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.. For more info about the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, check out the main website.
