Nerd Alert — The Heard Museum‘s releasing its stash of art-centric books — we’re talking more than 30,000 titles — to the public this weekend for 25 cents to $250 a pop.

The 15th annual sale will benefit special projects of the museum’s Billie Jane Baguley Library and Archives, a research facility that focuses on indigenous art and world cultures.

This year’s selection will range from rare books and paperbacks to historic tomes and cookbooks … And if you need just one more reason to cave into your book-browsing addiction (we won’t judge), the museum will also be selling American Indian and vintage jewelry, katsina dolls, prints, pottery and ceramic vessels.

Sale hours are on Saturday, January 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.and on Sunday, January 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m..

The Heard Museum is at 2301 North Central Avenue in Phoenix, and the sale is open and free to the public. (Admission to the museum is additional.) For more information check out the Heard Museum website or call (602) 252-8848.
