No promise of an in-coffin arrival or sexy vampire swag, yet, but news came in yesterday from Anne Rice and Changing Hands Bookstore that the bestselling author will be visiting the store on February 11.
The author will be signing copies of her latest title, Of Love and Evil, a thriller of angels and assassins, and the second in her Songs of Seraphim series (check out the book trailer after the jump).
Rice is perhaps best known for her Interview with a Vampire, which she wrote before converting to Catholicism and writing exclusively Christian-themed novels. The author left the Church in the summer of 2010 and says she’s back on the erotic, Gothic fantasy wagon — though she’ll hold on to her religious optimism for a while.
Rice will be signing books at 6 p.m. on February 11. Event vouchers (which admit two) are free with a purchase of Of Love and Evil from Changing Hands. Changing Hands is at 6428 S. McClintock Dr. in Tempe.
