When a drunk man stumbled into a Tucson gas station and started pointing a gun at the clerk, there already was a cop inside.
Unfortunately, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department says the cop was the drunk guy pointing a gun around.
It happened shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday, as two guys came into the store together, shirtless but wearing ballistic vests.
As you can see from the surveillance footage, one of the guys points a gun right at the clerk.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the man pointing the gun was identified as 23-year-old Tucson Police Officer Kyle James McCartin and was found by detectives in a nearby apartment complex.
McCartin never said anything while pointing the gun at the clerk, but the clerk told detectives he was scared for his life, which is understandable.
McCartin was booked into county jail on two counts of aggravated assault.
