One of the people shot was attorney Mark Hummels, an attorney for the Osborn Maledon law firm, who was involved in the lawsuit.

The man who was killed, 48-year-old Steve Singer, was the CEO of a company called Fusion Contact Centers, which was the other party in the lawsuit.

A woman named Nichole Hampton was the third person shot.
