A rodeo carnival worker was arrested on Sunday in Texas by the U.S. Marshals Service in connection with a January 7 abduction and rape of his Tucson girlfriend.
Glen Leo Gagnon, 52, was taken into custody without a fuss at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo carnival on Sunday.
Gagnon’s now being held in the Bexar County Jail on one count of kidnapping.
He’s expected to be extradited to Tucson to face charges stemming from the assault of his ex-girlfriend. Police say Gagnon bound, raped and sodomized the woman at knifepoint before locking her in the trunk of her car.

Somehow, the victim managed to escape after a few hours and called police.
Gagnon had also been employed as a carnival worker in Corpus Christi, authorities said.
“The ability to reach across state lines and request assistance in a timely manner is the key to apprehending these kinds of criminals,” said Robert Almonte, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Texas, in a written statement.
