I wish there were five of me.
I mean, I’m sure that would drive everyone else around me (or me’s) crazy. But if there were five of me, I could see and do all the things I want to in this town.
And today I’m adding one more thing to my mental “to do” list and that’s Jason Hill’s “Tulip Swan Diamond Egg” show at Design Within Reach in Scottsdale.
Jason Hill is a well-established Phoenix artist who impresses the Valley time and time again with his work. He built his reputation by focusing on the unique architecture in our city. And while his new series still highlights structure, he’s looks to furniture design as his muse.

He’s interpreted “iconic chair designs” by big hitters like Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia and Arne Jacobsen.
There are four works available in a limited edition of ten signed and numbered prints. Each are hand-printed with pearlescent pigments. The series is on display for the rest of the week and Jason Hill will be in the store this Sunday, December 13th from noon-2 p.m.
