Of course, this was on my “to blog” list at the very beginning of December but other arty events forced me to shove this one aside. It’s so sad when that happens.
The good news is, this blog will stay relevant for exactly 17 more days.
Why? Well, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is offering half price admission for the month of December. Rates are now $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for students. And they are still keeping their Thursdays free.
How generous!
When news happens, Phoenix New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Actually, they’re reducing the rate because the museum is busy setting up their January exhibitions. So, right now, there are only two shows available (Unexpected Wegman and southwestNET: Looking Through the Other End of a Telescope).
So maybe “generous” isn’t the word…
How appropriate!
Yes, that’s more like it.
