No one gets stoned to death, and you only have to pay if you win — doesn’t get much better than that.

Tickets for the Broadway tour of Wicked, which started its current Tempe run on Wednesday, are scarce and/or spendy. To make your last-minute, fingers-crossed bottom-feeding more potentially productive, ASU Gammage is conducting a lottery for a limited number of $25 seats before each performance.

It works like so: Show up live at the auditorium box office, 1200 South Forest Avenue, with your photo ID two and a half hours before curtain, submit an entry form, and wait 30 minutes for the drawing.

If your name is drawn, you may purchase one or two seats. Then you should have time for a nice stroll and maybe a chicken shawarma before the show starts.

$30,000

This sweet deal continues through the tour’s stop in the Valley, which ends Sunday, March 11. Here‘s the full schedule. To make sure that it’s on like Donkey Kong, or to hammer out the details, call the box office at 480-965-3434.
