It’s about time Phoenix sees some serious mural love. In the interest of giving credit to their artists and because we’re losing track of the times we’ve said, “Woah, when did that go up?”, we bring you Mural City, a series on the murals springing up around town — their artists, their hosts and their inspirations.
Busy local artist JB Snyder‘s hit another local wall with his bright colors and stained-glass style. The piece in the video above (shot by Jon Jenkins on a Canon 7D) is on the back wall inside Wet Paint Art Supply in Tempe.
Snyder painted the wall in early February — what he calls his Valentine gift to the store that undoubtedly supplies most of his work. Check out a few more of his pieces inside the Q on Friday After First Friday, at Way Cool Hair Salon through February and on the outside wall of the Dressing Room in downtown Phoenix. See? We told you he was busy.
