Trial watchers are waiting this morning to learn the jury verdict in the infamous murder trial — it’s supposed to be read any minute now.
But the verdict could be an announcement of another hung jury.

In May 2013, jurors in Arias’ main trial couldn’t decide whether to put her in prison for life or execute her. This week, as jurors deliberated following months of testimony in the penalty-phase trial, it appeared a similar result was coming.
Jurors told Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens on Tuesday that they were deadlocked. She told them to try harder.
