A Mesa pervert who was already behind bars for sexually abusing a 5-year-old boy in January, 2011, then charged in April for sexually abusing a 1-year-old and others — and videotaping it — was sentenced yesterday to 35 years in prison.

Brandon K. Jones originally was arrested early last year after cops got word that he had  sexually abused the 5-year-old.

He was in jail for that incident, but when the cops did a forensic examination of Jones’ laptop, detectives hit the mother lode.

On his computer, Mesa police say, Jones had video recordings of himself molesting the initial victim.

They also found video of Jones molesting two young girls, one of them just a year old.

Mesa police say they managed to locate the two girls and discovered they were sisters.

The girls were “under the care” of Jones’ sister, with whom he was living at the time of the molestations, and he had “access” to them.

Jones’ initial arrest came as a result of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation, as they tracked him down out of Boston with help from Mesa police.

The laptop examination earned Jones a grand-jury indictment on 27 counts of child molestation, and he eventually agreed to plead guilty to one count of child molestation and four amended counts of attempted child molestation.

Jones told police that he was making the videos “as a favor to his friend in Boston.”

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, his state prison sentence is 35 years, and Jones is “expected” to serve an additional 15 years in federal prison.

Jones was also sentenced to a lifetime of probation after he serves his prison sentence(s).
