One thing we failed to point out in our previous post about Mike Tyson’s latest brush with the law is that the former heavyweight champ is currently on probation here in Arizona.
In case you forgot, in 2007, Iron Mike was convicted of misdemeanor DUI and felony cocaine possession.
After leaving the Pussy Cat Lounge in Scottsdale, Tyson was pulled over while cruising around in his black BMW. Officers claimed Tyson was wiping a white powder off the dashboard and that his speech was slurred when they stopped him.
When officers searched Tyson, they found a bag of cocaine in his pocket.

Tyson pleaded guilty to DUI and cocaine possession. “Kid Dynamite” could have been sentenced to up to five years in prison, but a judge only sentenced him to one day in jail and three years’ probation.
Officials at the Maricopa County Probation Department confirmed to New Times that Tyson is still on probation and that one of the terms is that he not break any laws (duh).
Court officials are looking at yesterday’s incident to try to determine whether Tyson did in fact violate his probation.
Depending on what happens as a result of yesterday’s scrape with the law, Tyson could potentially head to an Arizona prison for up to five years.
