The body was of a 43-year-old Phoenix resident was found on Friday in a roadway, face-down, with his hands and feet tied behind his back, just a couple miles from Phoenix International Raceway.
According to a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Hector Sanchez Duque has “no known ties” to the Tolleson farm near where he was found.
That farm is located near Southern and 119th Avenue.
MCSO Sergeant Brandon Jones says detectives believe Duque’s body was dumped at this location, although his cause of death hasn’t been determined by the medical examiner.

Jones says MCSO isn’t commenting on Duque’s apparent wounds until the medical examiner comes back with a cause of death.
Jones did confirm to New Times that in addition to his hands and feet being tied up, there was also a red handkerchief tied around Duque’s face.
