Phoenix police officers have arrested a candy thief so prolific that detectives dubbed him the “Candy Man.”
According to police, the “Candy Man,” 23-year-old Jordan Newman, pocketed nearly $3,000 worth of candy from Circle K stores over the past 10 months.
Detectives teamed up with Circle K security to catch some people who keep stealing from the stores over and over again, and the “Candy Man” is one of those guys.
Turns out, police don’t even think the “Candy Man” is a sugar fiend. Apparently, he stole the candy and sold it to an individual who specializes in buying and selling stolen property in exchange for drug money.
